Tomato Soup

Ingredients :

Tomatoes - 2 nos.
Rice flour - 1/2 tbsp (Can use all purpose flour too)
Cummin seed - 1/4 tsp
Oil / Butter - 1/2 tbsp
Asafoetida (Hing) - a pinch
Pepper powder
Oregano (Optional)
Salt
Sugar

Method :

  1. Boil the tomatoes till it gets tender.
  2. Peel off the tomatoes skin and blend it in blender with rice flour.
  3. Sieve the tomato puree to sepaate the seeds.
  4. Heat the oil/butter in pan , crackle the cummin seed and add asafoetida .
  5. Add tomato puree and add water as per your requirement of soup thickness.
  6. Add salt, sugar, pepper powder as per your taste. 
  7. Serve the tomato soup by seasoning with Oregano.
