Chicken soup

As well known to everyone chicken is rich source of proteins.

RECIPE :

Ingredients :
Chicken (With bone)- 1/2 kg
Onion - 1 medium (chopped)
Garlic paste - 1 tbl spoon
Ginger paste - 1/2 tbl spoon
Corriander powder - 2 tbl spoon
Grated coconut - 4 tbl spoon (Optional)
Oil - 2 tbl spoon
Cumin seed - 1/2 tbl spoon
Turmeric powder
Hot water - 400-500 ml (Approx 2 1/2 cup)

Method :
1. Wash chicken and keep it aside.
2. Blend grated coconut , coriander powder and ginger garlic paste into mixer. If  you are not adding coconut then no need blend it in the mixer.
3. Heat oil and temper cumin seed.
4. Add chopped onion and saute still it gets translucent. Add turmeric powder.
5. Add mixer from blender and saute for 1-2 minute.
6. Add washed chicken and saute for a minute.
7. Now add hot water and salt. Let chicken cook properly.
8. Once chicken pieces becomes tender turn off the gas.
9. Take out the chicken pieces from the soup.

You can serve this soup as it is with soft rice or first sieve the soup and serve it.
