Fodani dal - Rice is another flavor of dal - rice. Some time toddler get bored of same test.
We should be always ready to give variety of food to them.
RECIPE :
Ingredient :
Moong dal - 1/2 cup
Rice - 1/2 cup
Tomato - 1 medium size
Garlic - 3-4 cloves (Chopped)
Ghee
Cumin Seed powder (Jeera powder) - 1 table spoon
Hing (Optional)

Water
Salt

Method :
1. Pressure cook dal and rice separately.
2. Meanwhile Peeled and chopped the tomato.
3. Whisked dal to blend it.
4. Heat 1 table spoon of ghee into pan. Add garlic,cumin seed powder,turmeric powder and pinch of hing.
5. Add chopped tomato and cook until it gets soft..
6. Add whisked dal and water. Add water enough to make dal thinner.
7. Add salt as per requirement. Let the dal boil to few minutes.

Take 4 spoon rice and 6 spoon dal and blend it properly in blender or mixer. (Tip 1)
Take out the mixture of dal and rice in bowl .Add 1/2 tablespoon ghee before serving it to baby.
Note :
1. No need to blend the mixture in blender if you prepared soft rice or your toddler have enough teeth to eat. You can simply mash the mixture by hands too.
3. You can add other vegetables like carrot, green peas etc
