Salted Rava (Semolina)

Rava (Semolina) is made up from wheat and rich source of carbohydrate and proteins.It is easy to digest.

RECIPE :

Ingredients :

Rava (Semolina) - 3 tablespoon
Oil - 1 tbl spoon
Cumin seed powder or cumin seed - 1/4 tbl spoon
Water - 1 cup
Salt

Method :
1. Heat the pan and add oil to it.
2. Temper cumin seed powder or cumin seed. (Tip 1)
3. Add semolina and saute for 1-2 minute. (Tip 2)
4. Add water and salt to taste. Stir continuously and boil it still becomes thick.
5.  Serve it lukewarm. It wont tastes good once cooled down.

Tips :
1. For baby less than 1 yr use roasted cumin seed powder. You can use cumin seed directly for toddlers more than 1 yr old or can remove the cumin seed after tempering it. It tastes slightly different by using cumin powder and seed.
2. You can roast semolina in bulk amount and store it in air tight container. It will reduce your time in semolina preparations.
3. You can change the proportion of water as per your choice.
